Default Hair tips & tricks

Same as the makeup ones, just random tips I've picked up here and there.

- For sexy waves, spritz roots with volume spray, then sleep with your hair in 10 tiny buns.

- Try a fragrance alternative, spray perfume on to your hair . It's a more subtle way to wear a scent.

- For smooth cutves, sperate dry hair into small sections and coil each around two fingers; secure. Spritz on hairspray and undo in 15 minutes.

- Get soft strands. In place of styling products, use conditioner.

- Fight frizzy curls: Use humectant-free gel, which fights moisture, on roots. The first area to frizz.

- Liven up hair without much work by using leave-in conditioner, then lightly scrunching hair to help work it into your hair shaft.

- Keep hair bouncy by rinsing every other day with water; use shampoo only three times a week to avoid drying out your curls.

- For tight ringlets, roll one.inch sections of hair around small or medium hot rollers. Leave them for 20 minutes, then flip your hair over and run fingers, not a brush, through.

- Make crimped waves without heat styling by sleeping in tight braids. Make two to three inch braids in damp, clean hair.

- To create glam coils blow-dry three inch wide sections with a round brush, always rolling it in toward your face.

- Get lush locks by using the right amount of conditioner. Tight curls need one tablespoon; loose curls need two teaspoons.

- Make thick hair feel lighter by cutting choppy layers in it.

- Try a new style without losing your legth by cutting in long, side-swept bangs.

- Add sexy motion to your ends by getting your stylist to texturize them.

- Save money, go to a high-end salon for a free consultation, then get that cut at a cheaper place.

- Draw attention to your eyes with bangs cut below your brows.

- Get a style that suits you, bring celebrity photos to your stylist. If your face shape is different they can adjust the cut.

- Hide an uneven hairline at your forehead with wispy bangs.

- Make a style last. Seal just-spritzed hair with a blast of cool air from your blow-dryer.

- For massive hold, thickening spray offers the best staying power.

- Maintain your blow-dried style longer by switching between hot and cold setting on your hair-dryer.

- Spray hairspray onto your brush before brushing for a soft hold.

- For ends that remain curled, blow-dry with a round brush, and hold hair around brush until cool.
