I'm not hiring a makeup-artist because I'm actually in a very small city in China (one of about 15 foreigners here) and the makeup artists love white foundation (all the women want whiter skin), bright eyeshadows and glitter for weddings! It looks fab on them but I want a natural look and would feel safer if I did it! Today, I searched all the shops and came up with one compact of neutral eyeshadows, the rest were bright, rainbow colours..
Maybe I'll relent and do a trial run, but I don't want glitter in my eye
