Toothpaste works for mine as well. Not as well as some other things, but when I have no other resort it works great.
P.S. whitening toothpaste also seems to take away the red of pimples. haha, and also I heard VISINE takes not only the red out of your eyes, but if you apply it under your makeup, a small amount to a pimple, it apparently takes the red out as well.
