The trick to using the cream-based Dermablend, Cover F/X, Ben Nye, Kryolan make-ups etc. Is that you have to layer and powder the tattoo at least 3x's to make the skin tone look realistic. It's a bit of time involved but the cover up looks great. If you do a rush job or just one layer, it'll look horribly fake.

I recommend using Reel Creations and Skin Illustrator palettes. They're both alcohol based make-ups. You need to custom mix your skin tone colours, but you only need to apply it once to cover your tattoo. It dries very quickly and is water proof. So you have to work rather quickly. In the end your saving twice the amount of your application time and it looks very realistic.
