Hi JKander,

Burns are "serious" business ... and depending upon the type of burn and the actual damage to the skin ... you just might not be able to "remove" them.

In any case ... a burn specialist should be able to advise you on what, if anything, plastic surgery can do for you.

I would at the very least, check with your family doctor to see what he/she thinks can be done, if anything, about the resultant marks.

I'm sorry that you've suffered this disfiguration ... but that's just what it might be ... a disfiguration. There might not be anything you can do in terms of removing them.

Many burn victims use special makeups to "cover" the most-seen areas of their bodies ... and mineral makeup just might be the ticket for you.
