I'm totally indifferent. If a natural product works well, wonderful. If not, well...we're humans and we have the good fortune to create suitable alternatives. To be sure, one or two generations back there was a tendency to err on the side of artificial products and ingredients. Nowadays, I cannot think of a manufacturer of ANY product that would not prefer to say "natural ingredients".
So when natural products work, great! I am in love with LUSH body and skin care products, for example. When they don't, so be it.

Oh yes: lanolin... it may sound odd but the water-repellent lipids in lanolin really don't have an equivalent in the natural or artificial worlds. For some applications they're indispensible. Thanks, sheep!
