Unhappy face help!

I have pimples sometimes but most of the times they are big red ones on my nose.I have tried many products to treat my pimples but they don't work.So I always have to go around with this big red pimple on my nose until it goes down which take about one week or longer.I also have lots of blackheads on my nose and I am so sick of my skin in such a bad condition so I am thinking if you all have any products you can reccomend but nothing too expensive as I am a full-time student and jobless.thanks!

Try using a clay mask, there are several on the market and they are not expensive. Use this on you nose or where ever you have black head and breakouts. the products normally say to leave it on for 15-20 min. Do this(depending on your skin type) 1,2 times a week. It takes a little while so be patient. And make sure you keep your face clean and finger away from the area of concern.

Default honey?

acne.org has a ton of good info/advice

I know a teenager who swears by dabbing a bit of honey on her spots in the evening and covering them with a bandade while she sleeps.

I have also heard of tea tree oil drying them up

what is your cleansing regimen?

Do nose-strips work for clearing blckheads? I've been contemplating buying them for a while, and they sound like they would help with kagomegirl's problem as well- are they worth it?

Default nose strips

Nose strips do pull out the surface ones, they're more effective if you steam or hold a hot cloth on the are first...but I have read that they can cause more probs too. If they are a real problem Id suggest a dermatoligist or a facial to get the pores cleared out then a good maintenance.

i use a cleanser twice a day(once in morning bfore i go to school and once at night when i am bathing.)when i found that there's too much blackhead,i use nose strips.and i also use za t-zone mask sometimes too.i don't use both of this on a regular basis.i just use when i need to.

If prescription remedies aren't an option for you right now, you could try an alternative approach such as vitamins, herbs, and skin-friendly foods.

Nutritional supplements for acne will decrease inflammation and infection and nourish the skin. If consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables is low, take a multi-vitamin supplement. Buy supplements at a health food store rather than a discount store or supermarket. The vitamin and mineral sources will be higher quality. Remember that foods provide a more balanced and absorbable form of nutrients than pills. Reliance on supplements as the only source of vitamins will not produce adequate results.

Green and white tea are great for skin.

Primrose oil and flaxseed oil supplements will clear up a lot of skin problems.

Vitamin A is excellent for treating acne. That's where Retin-A comes from. Food sources for vitamin A: Kale, carrots, sweet potatoes, papaya, cantaloupe, etc...

It also helps to limit your daily sugar intake. Too much sugar can do wicked things to the skin.
