Yes there are several great book on the market, I believe one is called the Perfect 10. go to a large library or book store. And you should be able to find something that will be useful for your needs.

i do nail art, ive got all the tools, and it just comes naturally, as im sure it will with you, i started with some rio products, and even though they're cheap, there only good to get started with (i wouldn't recomend it for pro's.) the things you will need is very expensive if you want good quality stuff (look below)

theres a good place called Sally beauty supply, my sister in law is a qualified nail technician and she bought loadsa good stuff from there. i dont have any idea where the shop is, but i passed it once (cant remember where) and its this massive building, and i should imagine its great, maybe you could try 118 118, or 0800 reverse and ask them where your local sally store is.
