Roc has a very nice exfoliant, I think that we all go through dry spots on are face and body. It sound like your doing the right things. One thing I have found helps is Salmon Oil Capsules, there great for your healthy and do lovely things for your skin. Hope this helps.

It may be a mild case of seborrhea or eczema, which is very common especially during cold or dry seasons. The dry patches are dead skin cells that aren't shedding fast enough. It's unknown as to why that happens, but it can be treated. Exfoliating will help. And using a gentle facial cleanser, like Cetaphil or Aveeno will be beneficial too. Just make sure you find something that is extra gentle for your sensitive skin. Try to add moisturizer after bathing while the skin is still wet. That will help lock in hydration and prevent dryness. And like Judi said, you can try taking a moisturizing supplement, like fish oil or flaxseed oil.

Zia Natural makes great products for sensitive skin.

This is their exfoliant if you're interested: http://www.zianatural.com/shopping/p...iProductID=129

Fresh Papaya Enzyme Mask
Gentle exfoliation for normal, dry or sensitive skin.

Fresh Papaya Enzyme Mask contains nutrient-rich green papaya to gently perfect skin's surface, dissolving dead skin cells and loosening pore blockage. Antioxidants and hydrating honey help nourish and repair for the softest, silkiest skin possible.

Good advice Lynnlee. As she said, i think exfoliating would help. And which part of your face is the dry patch? Maybe next time you moisturize you can do a facial steam, to let it sink into your pores. My friends recommended me to do that but i'm too lazy
And cetaphil is a very good cleanser for sensitive skin!

If it is really bad, you should probably see a derm, but it seems fairly common problem, so you might just have to change your routine, e.g, your moisturiser or cleanser may not be working well enough for your skin type, so maybe you could shop around for something specifically tailored for dry skin....

I have very dry skin. This is my routine: I use an exfoliant every other day. I love the miessence garnet exfoliant. It is the best one i have ever tried. it's expensive (20 bucks) so I switch between that one and the seaweed enzyme exfoliant made by Alba. I use the rejuvenating skin conditioner from miessence followed by a vitamin e moisturizer made by Jason. At night, i skip these moisturizers and use pure coconut oil on my face and let it soak in. It really helps. As you see, I like using natural products. I have such sensitive dry skin---that normal products loaded with chemicals just make my face worse. I like miessence and alba because they are both mild and very soothing. other products for dry skin---Jason moisturizers, but can sometimes be too oily.

www.obsessiveorganics.com----i hear it's sold on other websites, but i use this one.
