Any remedy for removing freckles??

....I think freckles are beautiful! My 6 year old daughter has them and I just kiss her little face everyday and tell her how beautiful she is!!!! Don't hate your frecles!...but if they really bother you- I've mentioned this in other threads but Hydroquinone is an ingredient that WILL work. There are lots of home remedies that people have suggested that are great but I tend to have more confidence in drugstore creams/medications. That's just my opinion- I guess it's because I've always had problems with my skin and have had to go with more "potent" remedies. And don't forget-sunscreen galore!

right on Scully, I had freckles when I was a kid and I always loved them. It was the look of good health and people who did not have them used eye pencil to make it appear they had them.

How would u use Hydroquinone and where can i get it from.

Hydroquine helps! my friends use it for their freckles and it works. you can get it from a derm...but those with low % can be found in pharmacies...
i think best consult your derm first.

You have to make an appointment with your dermatologist or your reg doc and get a perscription for it if you want the strongest concentration (4%). Otherwise, the 1-2% concentrations are available over the counter. This product should be applied after you cleanse and tone. During the day, wear a good sunscreen over it (sunscreen should always be your last product applied). In fact, if you don't wear the sunscreen over it-you won't get the impressive results you are trying to attain. If you do try this, be patient because you won't see instant improvement right away (at least a month). Hope this helps!

You can help prevent more freckles from appearing on your face and body by consistently wearing a good sunscreen (make sure it contains either zinc oxide or titanium dioxide-and apply it liberally). The existing freckles can be lightened but while your lightening them, wear a sunscreen over the lightening product. So if you do the 2 things together EVERYDAY- you will start seeing improvements gradually. Hope this helps!
