Hmm, I don't know about beauty remedies, but (if you have bought evening primrose oil capsules or tablets) then taking one a day around your period will reduce the effects of your menstrual cycle (bad skin, mood swings, etc.)

I have Evening Primrose Oil in a face creme that I made. The formulation is 7 drops of oil per 1 ounce. So, if you have 2 ounces of creme, add 14 drops and so on. I also take EPO as a supplement and it helps with "womenly" issues. You can also add the EPO to any other (carrier) oil you may have, at the same as above (7 drops per ounce).

Carrier oils are a base oil, Carrier oils are vegetable, nut, or seed oils. Since aromatherapy essential oils are so concentrated they usually need to be diluted for use directly on the skin. Most essential oils are too strong to use alone and need to be mixed with a carrier oil. Carrier oils can be used alone or you can mix essential oils with them. Some carrier oils are:
Jojoba (popular oil) Rosehip Seed (not good for acne prone skin) Emu (personally use and love this oil) Sweet Almond Coconut Wheatgerm Grapeseed Hazelnut Avacado Aloe Vera (I have/use this oil) Olive Oil (I have/use this oil) Shea Butter (I have/use this oil) and that just names a few of the more popular ones. You can find most at a health food store or just about anywhere online. I will happily post links to places I buy from online and can tell you first hand they are good oils. Just let me know, I'm always happy to share info and websites. ![]() Feel free to ask me any questions, I'm happy to answer with what I know! |
