i think what y9ou have for the redness in your cheeks is rosacea. There are skin doctors that have treatment/regimine that deals with it. It really depends on your case. It's probably best if you see a doctor and have them perscribe medicated lotions etc. I'm not sure if there are any homereamady stuff. There is also something you can purchase that blends out the redness in your skin. it's not a complete coverage but it balences your skin out on the outside appearence. It's called a Corrective Powder, it's yellow, but it blends in with your skin and produce a lighter look of the redness. But still it's probably best to also take care of the skin issue from the inside /out ie, doctor's / medication. Hope that helps.

here are so many things that can cause these problems, allergies, sun damage, wrong combo of medication, change of life and incorrect skin products. I would advise strong seeing a Derm before taking any chance with your skin.

np, roseca i think can appear on diffrent parts of the face. My brother has it below his cheekbones, so it kinda look like he's blushing but it doesn't at the same time. And as judi said it happens to variouse causes, such as the sun, the weather, humidity. It's probably not happening at home, because it's a more controlled enviroment especially if you have central air conditioning, with a filter.

as a short term solution, you could take facial blotting papers with you everywhere to sort out the oiliness.

Don't worry, the derm will know what you mean. If you explain your problem clearly (which you have done in your opening post) then s/he sshould know what you mean. Dermatologists are skin specialists, they probably get people with your skin problem (and worse!) all the time. And if it is as visible as you say, then the derm will know what you mean. If that makes any sense :-s
