For my face:

8-10 non-coated aspirins, crushed. I use a mortar and pestle
1 tablespoon of honey.

I apply to my face and leave it on until it starts to dry. Then I add a bit of water, gently scrubbing. Remove with a warm cloth and rinse with cold water.

For my body:

1 Tablespoon honey
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup sugar

Warm the liquids for a few seconds in the micro, then add the sugar . It makes a thick paste. I use a wood hand brush with medium bristles. I do not use this on my breasts with the brush, but apply it there with my hands. Use this all over and you will notice you do not need body lotion when you get dried off.

For my hair:

I use this about once every two months. It helps unclog any pores on the scalp

2 Tablespoons brown sugar
2 Tablespoons shampoo (or for those that use conditioner only to wash hair, 2 tablespoons conditioner)

Apply to wet scalp and give yourself a gently scalp massage. Rinse with warm water and apply conditioner from the ears down. Rinse again, then do a cold rinse to help calm the cuticule and promote shine.

You both are very welcome. I like sharing things that actually work and that you generally have in your kitchen. I'm trying to minimilize buying products from beauty companies. At least the ones that just make chemical soup!

Hi, I've been using that hair food for years now and it's wonderful. It really works, especially for thinning and dull hair. My hairdresser had once recommended it to me , so I am hooked since then. TRY IT - hold the stuff for at least half an hour before washing. You may even cover your head with a warm towel for better results.

did you know that Pepto Bismo makes a great and refreshing face mask, tightens the pores and gives your face a nice glow. apply with a cotton ball and let sit for 10-15 min. Rinse off with cool water.

ooh, I'll look into that! What is pepto bismol usually used for by the way? I have heard of it and I saw it in the chemist- but what is it for? is it a type of painkiller?
