Default REALLY dry hands..

Hello there!

Basically, just recently my hands are becoming VERY dry. I cannot stand it. My skin peels off of my fingers and it feels so uncomfortable.

MY dad doesn'twant to take me to the doctors though because there may be somkind of moisturiser that i havnt tried yet that i could use.

My mum thinks that i am lacking a vitamin...but i am bot sure which one.

Any one have any tips or advice for me...i would really really appreciate it!

thanks x

Cetaphil Therapeutic Hand Cream works very well for dry hands. It's the best moisturizer I've used for severe dryness. Neutrogena has an excellent hand cream as well.

Also, B vitamins and Flaxseed supplements are supposed to be great for restoring moisture to the skin.

First of all - make sure that you are drinking enough water. Dehydration can cause dry skin.
You could also try putting a good moisturiser all over you hands and putting gloves on before going to bed. When you get up - you should have smoother hands that what you went to bed with. This also works with dry feet - wearing socks instead of gloves.

Try 'Protective Hand Treatment(water resistant)-with kinetin' from 'The Body Shop'. It moisturises and improves the skin tone as well. Apply on cleansed hands.

Thank you!

I am going to try the honey and milk thing today!

The body shop products sound good for moisturising!

yes, the body shop "butters" are good. I'm not sure if they do hand butters, but if they do, shea butter is fantastic for dry skin as is the brazil nut butter.

And the Hemp products are amazing on dry skin; and I know for a fact they do hemp hand creams.
