how to make my eyes look bigger?

well i really like my eyes, though i would like them to look bigger, and more open. apart from liquid eyeliner, what other tecniques could i use?

also, i wrote in another post about the black eyeshadow/liner on eyes, well ive found an example of this on some music videos. christina aguilera has this makeup on the video 'cant hold us down', and kelly clarkson also has this look on her video 'breakaway' (the live version) so would this make my eyes look bigger?

eyeshadow on the top eyelid only is fine. eyeliner on your bottom lashes actually closes up your eyes.

I have heard of one way to make the eye look bigger. Take a white eye liner pencil and colour the inside of the bottom part of your eyelid. (the part between your bottom eyelashes and the eyeball) I have tried this a couple of times and I thought it looked good but it was a bit off a hassle to keep the white on because my eyelids are naturally oily.

When applying eyeliner on the upper lid make it thicker towards the outer corner of your eye and make sure to curl the lashes well. As Ocean has mentioned use a white liner inside of the bottom eyelid or you can try using a dark liner to colour the bottom eyelid (the outer part). Hope this helps...

the other way is to do a full thin line on top lid and smudge, the bottom lid only bring have way and make it seem invisible what I mean by that is smudge till there is only a hint of liner left.

Curl your eyelashes, Clear mascara, Black mascara and eyeliner shall do the job.

never wear Dark colours around the eyes,specially mascara and eyeliner because dark colours makes anything look smaller and light colours makes things look bigger....you girls will notice what i am saying when wearing a black dress to a white dress.

To make your eyes look bigger wear light colours around them.Silver liquid eyeliner looks great along the top of the eyes and put abit of light colour eyeshadow along the bottom.Just a thin line.

When I do my eyes every morning, I line the upper lid right accross with dark brown, curl my lashes with an eyelash curler and then apply dark brown mascara and my eyes look much bigger and very defined (and darken my eyebrows). Just experiment with all the above suggestions and you'll get big gorgeous eyes!!!!

I do the same thing and I agree that eyes look bigger and defined then....
