Thumbs up book recommendation

"The Skin Type Solution"
by Leslie Baumann, M.D.

Excellent book, it really made me take a close look at my skin and notice things I'd never really paid much attention to before. (Hellooooo, I have SENSITIVE skin, never realized it until I read this book!)

The book start off with an extensive quiz (4 quizzes, actually) to determine where your skin falls in the following categories:

1. oily/dry
2. sensitive/resistant
3. pigmented/non-pigmented
4. wrinkled (or prone to wrinkle as you age)/tight

Once you take all the quizzes and learn what your skin type is, the remaining chapters are divided into each skin type (meaning each possible combination of the above 4 categories) with guidelines, skin care routines, and product recommendations for each type.
Also, you should read the other types which are similar to your type, because you may learn that other types have some of the same issues you have.

I read this book in stages. First I took the quizzes, then I read my skin type, then I read other types similar to mine, then I read the entire book to see just how different each type was. There is an amazing amount of information in this book. You WILL gain knowledge, and you'll learn things about your skin that you never knew.

I bought mine at Waldenbooks at the mall, but here's a link to it at Amazon so you can see it. Visualization always helps me. LOL

you're welcome!
I hope you get as much great information out of it as I did.
I don't think anyone who reads it could *not* learn something!
