Smile Tomatoes to look young

Tomatoes to look young

Fresh tomatoes are a good source of vitamin C. Tomatoes also provide beta carotene, and their red color is due to another carotenoid called lycopene. Lycopene acts as an antioxidant and like betacarotene, offers protection against the damaging effects of free radicals, highly reactive molecules that can attack healthy cells.
Tomatoes are low in calories, just 29 in 2 small tomatoes. They are rich in fiber; vitamin C, B, vitamin E and potassium. They are useful addition to weight reducing diet. Zycopene becomes available to the body only from cooked tomatoes products like ketchup, puree not from raw tomatoes.
