Smile after shave balm

Sandalwood and Vetivert AFTER SHAVE Balm

The sweet, woody and musky aroma of sandalwood is a particular favorite in After Shave. Sandalwood is a natural bactericide and soothes the skin after shaving. Vetivert has a deep, earthy aroma that blends beautifilly with the sandalwood, creating a strong, deep male fragrance. This after shave is suitable for all skin types and is particualy good for young men just beginning to shave.
1 tbsp (20ml) high proof vodka
8 drops sandalwood
6 drops vetivert
3 drops neroli
4 tbsp (50ml) witch hazel
6 tbsp (100ml) rose water

1. Pour the vodka into a 7 oz (200ml) glass bottle. Carefully add the essential oil, one by one, and shake vigorously until the oils have dissolved.
2. Add the witch hazel and shake well. Then add the rose water and shake again.
3. Label the bottle and the Sandalwood and Vetivert After shave is ready to use.
4. Make sur to shake the bottle befor using each time to disperse the oil.

Cedarwood and Juniper AFTER SHAVE Balm

You may also apply only aloe vera gel as an after shave balm.

Exclamation Whaaaaaaaat????

So Tell me... Please

What are the benefits of High Proof Vodka in an after-shave balm?? Don't you mean an after-shave Splash??? BIG difference!!

Please define to us what "High Proof" is??

* Splashes tighten the pores. Whereas Balms soothe the skin. *

Alcohol doesn't soothe the skin, especially after shaving

^^^ Lol, I didn't know vodka was good for your skin. You know, if there was a drunk person in the house, then they would drink that!

Ooooh, I think they would be past the point-of-no-return if they decided to swig some... At least in my space

Ouch. I'd imagine alcohol would hurt after shaving.

I never heard of an after shave splash with vodka, but you can use vodka to make perfumes and colognes but you just mist yourself with perfume, I don't think you would want to douse your face with vodka. The best thing would be to mix your essential oils with witch hazel and rosewater, they are very soothing.

Neither have I.

I would use denatured alcohol instead of vodka if I was going to make a home-made fragrance.
