1. A concealer palette with two shades is all you need... blend them into a shade that's slightly lighter than your skin to hide dark circles , or mix them to match the skin exactly for blemishes with red spots.
2. To deftly hide a blemish dip a cotton swab in concealer and dab it directly on the spot until it disappears. The fine tip gives you more precise coverage than using your finger but is less fussy than using a brush. 3. You don't need a face full of make-up to wake up tired looking skin. Patting a creamy concealer just at the outer and inner corners of the eyes and along the tops of the cheekbones with instantly brighten your face. 4. Rather than fiddling with highlighters and other luminizing makeup... dot a rich night cream on the tops of your cheekbones and along the browbones for a natural looking sheen. 5. When time is of the essense, pencil liner is all it takes to make eyes vivid. Trace right along the upperlash line then dot the pencil in between lashes. Smudge the liner with your finger (a cotton swob removes too much color) to soften the effect. Your lash line will appear thinker and darker, which makes lashes seem fuller. 6. If you can't bare the thought of bare lids, add a neutral color or concealer that's slighter darker than your skin. Neither requires a precise blending. Matte cream shadow that matches your skin tone (usually taupe for fair and medium skin , and chocolate for dark skin). Smear it across lids and up to the creases of a fingertip. It will cover any redness on lids and add a touch of color, but it won't look like your wearing anything. 7. [b]Make puffy eyes less obvious/b] by dabbing a cotton swab in a light tawny or taupe powder eye shadow and tracing it right underneath the lower lashes. This creates a soft shadow under your eyes, so they don't appear as swollen. 8. To make eyes look bigger and more awake, curl lashes, then applying one coat of inky black mascara (in any formula that does not thinken lashes). It coats the lashes to make them look naturally thick and shiny, like they do when you get out of the shower. 9. For the laziest lip color tinted lip balm and sheer lipsticks last longer than glosses and are just as easy to apply. When you're going low-key, you want sheen rather than shine. Choose rosy and peachy shades -tints that put the color back in your mouth! 10. When there's zero time to do makeup, just quickly define your brows. Use a powder or cream one shade lighter than your natural brow color (or match the shade exactly if you're blonde) to fill in hallow spots the at the inner parts of the nitches near your nose and along the nostrils. Structured brows make you look groomed, even when the rest of your face is bear. 11. To exfoliate quickly, rub a warm, damp washcloth in circular motions over your face. It removes dead cells and stimulates blood flow to bring color to your skin.
