Dry Spots!?!

ok here is the problem. during the last year i have grown these 'patches' of dry bumps. therE small but they show up very well when i put foundation/powder on and... its anoying! i have no idea what they are. its not a pimple and its not a blackhead or whitehead... its just a pimple-looking spot and its very dry , almost like a scab (not red or discolored, my skin tone) but they are on my chin and 2 'parts' of my forehead. could it be from too much makup? (someone told me that but, she was 13 and most likely didnt know anything she was talking about) PLEASE HELP!

I recommend consulting a dermatologist to know exactly what those patches of dry bumps are and the effective corresponding treatment.
