Umm, I don’t know whether there’s home remedies for that. From what I know, people go for sclerotherapy to get rid of it .

I have heard that an electrolysist qualified in diathermy or a dermatologist can treat them for you. They actually insert a very fine needle into the vein. The heat from the needle coagulates the blood inside the vein, rendering it inactive. The treatment depends upon the size of the area to be treated plus the number of spider veins you have.

If you can't afford laser treatments the next best thing is concealer, a light green concealer works very well hiding the redness of these natsy little thing. If you find you want to tone the green down just use a little foundation.
Also avoid booze, hot foods, sun (always wear sunscreen!!!!!!) and don't use hot water hot your face or anywear on your body, water should be warm but not screaming hot. Give it a shot.

I've also got spider veins and have had two sessions of laser treatment, which worked amazingly well. I've going for one more treatment this year to get rid of them completely. If that's not an option, just continue to avoid spicy food, alcohol, hot showers and especially facial steaming! That is one of the worst factors in causing spider veins. Also stay away from harsh facial scrubs and bear in mind that seasonal changes (winter for example) can add to the problem, so wear a heavier cream on your face. Other than that, use a good quality concealer and a small dab of green correcter concealer underneath (The Body Shop has a great one)- not too much or your skin might look ghostly! Good luck. |

I have the same problem and do not know of a remedy other than Laser treatments. I am hoping to be able to afford to do it someday!

I actually got it done for FREE (one treatment only) at a beauty training school in my area. The teacher zapped my thread veins with two students watching closely. So why not ring a school near you and find out if they need a 'guinea pig'?

I have heard that vitamin K cream works well to diminish the look of spider veins. You can buy it almost anywhere.
