I have just started using this product as I've switched to Clarins for many of my skincare and makeup products. However, I am just simply shocked at the price of this product. I got this package from a nice and reputable eBay seller (most are not either nice or ethical) and I'm waiting for the miracle that I feel I should see with a product which costs $122 retail for a months worth of product. I mean, seriously, if it doesn't take at least five years off my face, then what is the point?
I'd love to hear from anyone who uses it or moved to another product that works just as well. I'd especially like to hear from others close to my age (50). I don't have many wrinkles but I do have sensitive skin that tends to get red and irritated easily. |

Do you know that Avenno has brought one out with quite similar ingrediants for $12.00 or you can get Neostrata for around 30.00 for the Vit C serum. Both are wonderful products.
clairins is a good products as well, but I have never heard of the serum being sold so high, I know it's pricey, but I think I will stick with the brands that I have mentioned.

Thanks, Judi, for the suggestions. However, I don't buy Aveeno for reasons I stated in a different post. Aveeno is manufactured by Johnson & Johnson which is not a cruelty-free company. I had never heard of Neostrata so I did some research, and it seems that they are a questionable company as they don't test their finished product on animals, but do not ensure that their ingredients are cruelty-free. I'm going to pursue The Body Shop. They were recently purchased by L'Oreal, one of the biggest offenders out there. However, they are maintaining their cruelty-free position. They ensure that their products AND ingredients meet cruelty-free standards. |
