Cold Sores

I get cold sores about once every 3 months. I use medicine and they go away, but it doesn't remove them permanently. How can I deal with this problem There must be some way to stop them from coming back in such short intervals... but how?

do you live in the us? or canada?? go to a chinese marketplace where theres a pharmacy inside or a chinese pharmacy, there this cream called 999 and its a white/red tube with grey writing, it works well for cold sores and gets rid of them, i use it when ever i feel one about to form and it dissapears less than an hour

well once u get a cold sore you can never get rid of it...i mean its gon go away but the thing is a cold sore is really HSV1 or Hepres Syndrome Virus 1

yea it is contagious if u kiss some1 while you have the outbreak...to tell u the truth you can never get rid of the herpes virus.its not like u can die from it but u can never get rid of it. just this summer i got it REALLY bad..it was an outbreak from the sun..NO u dont have to give oral sex to get the herpes virus.u can get it from kissin some1 with it,from the sun,from a cold

Bactrombam cream and it worked real good..i got dat cold sore in july and now we in october and i aint get another 1 yet..the thing about that cream is it cost around 140dollaz

and you can choose to believe me or not...you probably wont because im only 16 and i dealt with alot of cristism when i had that cold sore..people were sayin i gave head..my own cousin was talkn about "eww this and that" and i felt so bad i couldnt do anything but cry,but the thing ppl dont realize is more then half of the population has the HSV1 virus..they might not have an outbreak that often but they STILL have it

If we all had compassion and understanding about this, there would be no being shunned because of misconceptions of HVS1.

My litle brother got it from swimming pool....n so was my friend.....becarefull when u swim in public pool even if u get a tiny scratch on skin.
