Default Avoiding the sun's effects?

Hey all, I know I haven't been on here in a while but I need your help! I'm working as a camp counselor this summer. That means I'll be outside in the sun for eight hours every weekday from now until the middle of August. I've got very fair skin and I like it that way. I'm already obsessive about slathering on copious amounts of sunscreen, but I'm paranoid that eventually I'll start getting either sunburn or a farmer's tan (the camp requires us to wear giant staff t-shirts and the sleeves come to about my elbows). Is there anything else I can do to keep the sun's effect on my skin to a minimum?

You can buy clothing that have a built in UV protector, wear hats and wear a good pair of shades something with side protection. Try not to wear anything black it attracts the heat light colored clothing is best.
Try also to use a Sunblock that is at least 50-60 waterproof and sweat proof.
You will find you do not have to apply as often with these. The spray ones are great because your hands do not get all greasy and dirty and you can use them on your face by applying with your hands to your face.

There are these wristbands on drugstore.com that tell you when to reapply sunscreen! I got some in a summer gift basket, and they basically saved me from sunburning at one of those waterparks that has absolutely no shade. They're called Solarsafe. Definitely check them out.
