Default Your tips for beautiful skin?

Hey people what are your tips to get a beautiful skin?

I will take a start.
  • Avoid stress as much as you can.
  • Stay out of the sun (or protect your skin with UV blockers).
  • Drink lots of water.
  • Be sure to clean your skin properly.
  • Don't smoke. This does nasty things to your skin.
  • Get plenty of sleep.
  • Eat lots of fruit and vegetables.
What are yours?

Hydrate your face throughout the day.

What I do is, I fill a spray bottle with distilled water, add a few drops of chamomile or rose essential oil, shake it gently before each use, and spray it on my face, even over makeup. I do it frequently throughout the day. Keeps my face fresh and clean

Don't go to bed with makeup on. (Ok, I know you must be knowing, but thats very important)

Use facial masks regularly. If possible, everyday is ideal. Again, if you don't have one on hand, make your own. Mashed banana or avocado is good. The one made with fuller's earth also works well.

exfoliate daily... after washing your face at night, it is really good to exfoliate. use a delicate scrub though

Yup! thats right. Exfoliating is necessary for getting the blood flowing into the face, as well as for removing grime.

Here's something that might be suprising to acne sufferers (like me). This is a self-made regimen that's the product of visiting many natural skincare sites:

I wear a lot of heavy makeup during the day. I have found that the best way to remove the stuff is pure oil-something like sweet almond, grapeseed, or apricot kernel. Use a teaspoon at a time until the makeup is removed.

It sounds counterintuitive, but I have spent so much time and money trying to dry out my skin when the real solution to my acne was the opposite!

My whole regimen consists of using the oil to remove makeup (just rub vigorously and repeat until all the makeup is gone-there is no need to rinse it all off) and then use a scrub that I make from lemon juice and sugar (just mix them until it forms a pasty goo, and keep it in the fridge). You should still feel the softening effects of the oil afterwards. Sometimes I'll use a favorite face mask and then I'll finish with an eye cream.

It really helped with my scars and discolorations too! Plus I dont spend any money on OTC cleansers and the like anymore. My breakouts have almost completely stopped (and I have extremely acne-prone skin).

Use with caution though-as with any routine, it might not work for everyone, but it certainly has for me.

(In the morning, I use plain water or a bit of the scrub followed by the oil as needed.)

Here are the things I do :
1) I cleanse my skin twice, in the morning and before sleeping, using cream/lotion cleanser followed by soap-free facial foam and toner
2) Always wear moisturizer with antioxidant and UV Protection at least SPF15 n seperated sunscreen (Because I live in Indonesia which is under the equator, very hot, n the sunlight is killing me) during the day, n always put night creams at night
3)Drink as much as I can
4)Eat a lot of vegetables (I love vegetables)
5)Exfoliate my skin twice a week, execpt when I have acne on my skin
6)Do facial once a month
7)Do Yoga, it helps a lot to avoid stress
8)Try to get enough sleep
