I have dry skin too and my daily skin regimen is to apply lotion right after bathing. And whenever I need to reapply lotion on my hands, I wash my hand first, damp it gently before putting any lotion.

Thanks for the tip valass21. My skin is really dry. I will try this tomorrow and see if it does anything for me.

for dry skin i use a product line called "Burt's Bees". they have a hand salve that works wonders, and is also safe for dry skin you have anywhere else. i was actually getting really bad rashes on my upper arms due to dry skin and scratching, and started using this product every night and my problem totally disapeared in 3 days. i think u can get this stuff at pretty much any drug store or department store, and they have a whole range of products ranging from soaps, lotions, and hair care products, to lip balms!

That is very interesting. Burt's Bees seems to have a lot of variety with product selection and if it works for you that well then I may have to try it.
