Look for creams with tea tree and witch hazel as ingredients. other things to look out for are salycilic acid (also known as beta hydroxy acid, or BHA) and kaolin; they are all good for acne.
welcome to the forums, I hope that was of help

Well , I know this brand called Paula's Choice , it really is a miracle worker. After using it , you have this glow on your face . Your acne get easier to squeeze and your face gets less acnes at the same time ! I use their skin balancing cleanser , 1 % beta hydroxy acid gel and blemish fighting solution , it really really is a miracke worker (: You will see results after 1-2 months

If it's just the ocassional blemish, I always found just a tube of benzoyl peroxide to do well. Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick (which is actually a small roll-on) also works well, it has tea tree and eucalyptus oils.

Just something I would like to Mention please do not sqeeze your blemishes, you will find later in life that you will be left with scarring let these dry up on there own or see a derm about proper extration.

I've worked with a few models and actors that have used and swear by Proactive. Also our researcher on the show I am working on, she uses Paula's Choice for her break-outs. And all their skins look amazing from using both these products.
