Hello everyone,
I would like some advice from anyone that has had botox injections. I am going to get Botox in May (thats how I am going to spend my economic incentive from Uncle SAM ).I have a severe furrow between my eyebrows, and have had this furrow since I was in my teens, thanks to squinting probably. I also have slight linear lines going across my forhead. These are the areas I would like to have Botox injections. I have tried everything to diminish them, and nothing has worked permanently, of course. I do know Botox is not permanent either, but is a reprieve lasting a few months. However, I have heard with continued injections, over time less is needed. Anyway, your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Aurora |

My best friend and I tell people that when we start getting wrinkles, we're going to turn into Botox queens lol. Good luck with the treatment!

I've read some pretty nasty tales about Botox horrors. I've also considered having Botox, and after looking in some Botox forums, I was scared. There seems to be some terrible results that people did not expect...drooping eyes, etc. Go into the forums and do your research first

Erika,
I agree that cautionis necessary. I have heard and read about the issues, including death that occur. Usually this is from improper dosing and for using Botox off label. It is specifically indicated for brow furrows. Most importantly, using someone not accredited and inexperienced is a risk. It is worth it to pay more, and see and experienced dermatologist or plastic surgeon. |
