I'd just wind up repeating what the American Dental Association would say:

Brush and floss twice a day and Listerine mouthwash is pretty powerful stuff and will get rid of bad breath. Chewing gum after meals also helps.

chewing parsely leaves is a good way of neutralising strong onion and garlic smells (and probably other smells too!)

I agree also mint (fresh) helps as well.

Just make sure after you chew your herbs of choice... That you brush and floss your teeth. Those leaves have a funny way of getting stuck in between your teeth.

Just ask any actor...

I would suggest going and getting a deep cleaning done at you hygienist. After that, floss and brush religiously at least twice a day. Flossing really helps with bad breath because it gets rid of all the plaque that can accumulate in between your teeth. I also agree that chewing natural herbs such as parsley is a great way to neutralize bad breathe.
