Default Facial - How many times a week?

Nice place to discuss beauty and makeup tips

Can anyone tell me how many times one should go for a facial?
Thanks in advance.

I've read about this at ivillage.....Ideally once a month, but if u dont have time to do that, u can do it four times a year, once every 3 months....means u should get facial in at least once in a season, helps u're skin to adapt the weather changes....

Have anyone tips for doing facial at home? The procedure?
All I know is, scrubbing, maskering, and toning finished with moisturizing. Is it enough?

that is normally the root I take but once in a while before doing the mask I use either steam or warm face clothes to open my pores

I also agree with Rinda... N' I think you better not doing it too often. I heard it could make your skin be too slight n' sensitive.
