What kind of scar it is? Try some skin peeling.

Default Treatment for Acne Scars

Acne scars can be treated painlessly and effectively using skin lighteners that contain hydroquinone which get rid of the abnormal color packets without affecting normal skin color.

For less severe acne scar with small and shallow depressions, you can use topical retinoids such as retinol which is available over the counter. Alternatively you can go for prescription medications such as Renova and Retin-A.

If in doubt, it is best to go to the dermatologist.

Make a sandalwood paste with rose water and apply on the scars. Keep it overnight and wash it with cold water the day after. If you find that your skin becomes dry in the morning, you leave it only for a few hours on your face or you may try adding some milk while making paste.

Use a glycolic toner twice a day, after you cleanse your skin. The glycolic acids (derived naturally from sugar cane) will smooth your skin, up the moisture content and increase the cell turnover rate, softening the appearance of the scar tissue in one to three months time. You can also combine the glycolic treatment with a lightening treatment, something with hydroquinone or kojic acid.

my dermie says that acne scars cannot be treated... but many ppl mistake that the flat brown spots on ur face are acne scars..they are not...(those can be treated over time) only the depressions or the bumps which r dark brown or black are considered acne scars!!!prevention (not cure): dont pinch ur pimples!!! (for those itchy fingers out there who cannot resist...make sure u pinch it thoroughly..with all the puss removed...eeeky... n DO NOT pinch it when it is healing) n use onli medicated cleanser, toner n moisturizer..

I know derms say that you can't treat scars, but mine got so much better. I've been using microdermx and it is the only thing that is helping a lot.
