I live in a very polluted city and I have to go out everday. So, I am kind of worried with the pollution effects on my skin. I guess it will make my skin dull and dead.... any solutions in combatting this ugly pollution?

I have heard that to combat pollution, one should use creams that combat free radicals in order to protect your skin from the damaging effects of pollution (I dont know why though
anyone? ). I guess certain vitamins have anti-oxidant properties such as vitamin A and vitamin C. So, look for creams that contain these vitamins. Also, taking vitamins A, C and D helps. ![]()

Hello Mishti.Even i travel everyday in heavy polluted area. But you know I do take sometime to take care of my skin.As soon as you reach home in the evening...Just try this..At first wash your feet,hands..face and neck..with gram flour..Then pat your face with a soft towel.Later...relax for 10 mins...have some juice or milk..or eat something.Now..put some moistuerise cream massage gently to your face, neck, hands and feet.....all the expsoed areas.OK.Now..after massage..wait for 2,3 mins..then steam urself...After steam...apply some....Pack...I'll give you some packs.
1.you can mix..cucumber plup in gramflour..or fuller's earth. 2.Sandalwood powder.with gram flour 3.Rose powder in rose water. 4.Turmeric and gramflour. You can use any of the above mentioned packs to your face, neck, hands and feet. And if you dnt get enough time to mix these packs..everyday..you can mix oneday..and put it in refrigerator..and can use it for 3 days.Apart from taking care externally..you have to take care internally too.. You can take..5 garlic..pieces..everyday..just stab it into plup..and swallow it in glup..by taking water. As you feel irritated...with the smell of raw garlic...the best way to have it is to swallow it without smelling it.GARLIC...has got the best immune power...which protects your skin from diseases,aging..and all kinds of..skin problems...and it also works as internal antiseptic. Along with these....you can also..take Vitamin E capsule everday....400mg. Good luck Mishti. Always remeber...If you take care internally.....the genuine beauty reflects externally. Cheers. |

St Ives has a range of products that make your skin less dull and lifeless. I suggest you use that. I have never used it before, but it looks good. Also, cleanse your face everyday, morning and night, as the dirt and grime from the pollution will go. Steam your face, and moisturise regularly. Hope this helps!
