I would be careful using oils on acne prone areas. Unfortunately there isnt really anyway to get rid of acne scars, although most will fade with time the only real option to remove them is laser surgery.
I know how they can cripple self-confidence as i have them myself. The best thing i can recommend is to look at other people more closely, you will realise that people you know have acne scars that you've never really noticed before because you dont pick up on it, and its the same with them, chances are they wont notice the scarring.
You can buy makeup to cover up the scars on your face to help raise your self esteem but again you will need to make sure the makeup is suitable for an acne prone area and that it wont clog your pores.
