Unhappy CONSTANT Dark Undereye Circles!

I have dark undereye circles all the time, not just when I don't get enough sleep! I've tried chilled cucumber, ice, and even Visine, but nothing seems to work. Concealer doesn't do much for me, so I always look like I'm on drugs or uber tired! Any suggestions?

Sounds hereditary.

However, you can use the various eye creams on the market made for Undereye dark circles. Use am/pm.

What kind of concealer are you using? Texture, colour. And how you applying it?

Also, if you browse through the forum, usually the first pages, you'll find lot's of suggestions and remedies on how to deal with it. (Maybe you did already?)

Yes, that's true...

In addition to your diet, your metabolism and physical activity is also related in terms of how your body is flushing and storing toxins.

It might be hereditary alright. you should also check your diet and make sure you are getting enough sleep. As rinda said, it might be caused by toxins but you're quite young (like me) There are detox diets...or just try eating healthier. You might want to go to a doctor to check it out if you want to.

The dark circles under the eyes appears because in this area it happens to have a big venous circulation (sorry, my english is not the best thing in the world, specially when medical things are concerned), so the blood in this area is almost purple.

Since some people have thinner skin in that area, it appears all the time, but most of us have it only when we don't sleep well or stay awake all night, because the circulation in the area is compromised. Or, just like vogueboy said, it can be hereditary

yeah.....same with me....my english is not that good....I never use english daily since we use Indonesian here...

eye area, like u said, have thinner skin....so choose an eye cream that contains ingredient to thicken the eye area such as vitC and kinetin, that should help to fade it.

Just to add my 2 cents to Rinda's great advise... Ginseng also works great with the Vitamin C and Kinetin.

Lancome's Vitabolic yeux contains Vitamin C, Ginseng and Ginko. Sadly it's been discontinued, I have one tube left...

I don't know if Ginseng is expensive or not... I am sure it makes a great tea though...
