Ya....

This one is fav one of mine.....I have oily skin and i have tons of Fuller's earth.

Rose Water Mud Mask

Take 1 tbsp Fuller's Earth and Rose Water to make a solution. Spread the paste over your face if it has blemishes or is greasy. If rose water is not easily available; u can also give a try to the witch hazel. This is good for oily skin too.

Heyyyyyyyyyyy. Wuts ur skin type, though.

I have that red sandalwood powder (chandan powder) too. It works really good for a tanned skin. Can b used as an anti-tan ingredients in herbal masks....

Besan Sandalwood Mask
Mix besan, milk and turmeric, lemon juice and sandalwood powder and apply on face. Let it dry and rub off in a circular motion. Iuse all of these ingredients in equal amounts...Sandal brings glow on ur face.

Or use this simpler one....

Turmeric & Sandalwood to Remove Tan
Turmeric (a pinch), sandalwood powder and oatmeal mixed into a paste with water remove tan and lightens complexion as well. It also removes delicate facial hair.

Now i duun wuts a kasturi manjal. I know kasturi methi, but wuts a manjal....
Sorry. Cant help.

Hope to listen from u soon.

...............Kiss...........

Hiya,

Tks. for the recepies Jia. I have a normal to dry skin so do you think that I can still use the fuller's earth. Also I want to confirm that kasturi manjal reduces hair growth. I have these fine hairs on my face and back that I'd very much like to get rid of.

Sorry! I didn't answer your question in the excitement of reading your recepies. Kasturi manjal is a kind of turmeric that is mainly available in south India. I don't know if its similar to kasturi methi.

Well Lucy dear!

Sorry from me too. I have a combo skin. Not that dry-cum-oily type of though...but an oily-cum-normal skin type. T-Zone is oily, and the rest of the face is normal. Still i use Fuller's earth.

Now that Kasturi manjal.............well...

Lucy dear!
I guess ur talking abt that our goldie goldie classic 'UBTAN'. And that manjal thing might be an added ingredient of that receipe......m right?????

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh...............

My lovely Sun!

Well dear me. Witch Hazel is an herb that makes a wonderful, cooling toner for the skin. It is made by steeping witch hazel herb leaves and /or roots in hot water or oil to create an infusion that can then be used in creams, lotions and moisturizing gels.

A natural astringent known for shrinking skin pores. Applied externally, it soothes inflammation, burns, infections & insect bites.

Dear i dunno whats it calle in Urdu or Hindi. I buy it from a pharmacy near my home by this very name.

this is not really homemade, but who does not have Pepto Bismo in the house.
Use this has a mask. Just apply it with a cotton puff and leave it till it is dry and rinse with cool water. Your skin will glow.

Other for Lips if you do not want to have to wear lipstick all day, take a packet of Jello and paint you lips till dry and cool water rinse again. And your lips will have color all day without having to reapply and no smudging. Have course the color and flavor is your choice. Just a few facts.
