Question does it work?

ive read many times that rubbing garlic on your face reduces the size of pimples in hours. i hate the smell oof garlic, so im not willing to rub it all over my face for nothing.
so does it really work?

Question

I am not too sure about that... However, there are several members here that are well versed in home remedies, I am sure one of them will let us know.

Ooooo yeah...

It works
It works
It works

Garlic is a wonderful healing thing fro pimples....has antibiotic properties, thus is well-known treatment for pimples, acne and other skin blemishes.

All u have to do is to peel 8 cloves of fresh garlic and mash them.
Apply to face or on the pimple, etc.
Avoid the eye area. Stricltly avoid or u are goin to have a seemingly never-ending burn and pain.
Leave it on for about 15 minutes
Wash off with a warm cloth.
Finish with a rinse of the vinegar ph balancer. This will dry the pimple out. (Note: Try no to put too much on one area.)
Pimples will disappear without a mark with regular applications. U can leave it overnight too.

Plus i wud recommend u Cassie, do do do a patch test.

Hope i helped....

(It is recommended again do a patch test......)

I don't know about the garlic, but I do know that toothpaste works! A small dab, leave on overnight if possible (wait for it to dry before going to bed or you'll smear it all over your pillowcase!), and in the morning the spot will have dried out and will be manageable with a dab of concealer if necessary. Might not be as effective as garlic (I've never tried) but certainly more appealing if you don't like the smell.

^I dunno abt it. But i eat it when i got soar throat. Eating raw garlic causes sometimes allergy. Thats wut happen to me.....

I wud say all of it.

1. Diet - You are what you eat. So it's important to eat lots of fruits and vegetable. Drink lots of water too.

2. Skin Care Products - use the products that suit your skin profile and environment. For example, in hot climate countries, it's important to use sun block, whereas moisturisers play essential role in cold climate countries.
After all, we're nourishing our skin with what we apply on it.

3. Additional Antioxidants - Given air pollution, it's important to clear of the toxin. Say yes to Vitamin E and green tea. I have my daily boost of green tea and I'm enjoying my tea rigth at this moment...not green but black though...

4. Enough sleep - Our skin rejuvenates itself while we sleep. Also, when you have enough sleep, you hardly get those dark circles and puffy eyes. When you have sufficient sleep, you'll look fresh. On contrary, tiredness is ugly.

5. Exercise - We need exercise to stay healthy Healthy people have rosy cheeks.

6. Don't smoke !! Smoking is VERY VERY bad for the skin.
Somehow it accelerate the aging process.

7. Avoid the sun as much as possible or use products with SPF15 or SPF30. The sun is very damaging to the skin. It gives freckles, pigmentation, moles and age spots.

8. Follow a proper daily skin care routine.
