Default Anybody try an Aspirin Mask???

I've tried it a few times, and I have to say I absolutely love it!! I'm getting lazy with it though, but it's really good for your skin. If you wanna learn more about it, just google in aspirin mask. When I use it faithfully for once or twice a week, I: take my shower, and let the steam open my pores
then after I step out, I crush like 8 cheap generic aspirins, and put a lil water to make a paste. After that, I apply it on my face for like 15-20 minutes, while I'm putting lotion on the rest of my skin. After that, I rinse off the mask, and you could already feel the difference in your skin. But that's not it, while the skin is still wet a lil, I apply a light film of olive oil on my skin (while I was researching people reviews on it, people said it could be very drying- I don't have dry or sensitive skin, but I don't wanna take any risks), leave it on for like 5 minutes, then rinse it off w/warm water. Then I proceed and apply my Noxzema cleansing cream on my face, leave it on for about 5 minutes, rinse off (omg, you won't be able to stop touching your face after this mask I promise!) and put on my moisturizer. You would love it! I promise!

I have never heard of that kind of facial mask. It sounds interesting. I'll have to read up on it.

Just a quick reminder if any of you have an allergy to asprin or ASA, do not use this has it is absorbed into the system, and can cause adverse affects if allergic.

Yeah its very popular in my place i only use three aspirin pills and mix it with another mask coz its very runny. Yeah, must be very careful, don't use it if you have an allergy.
Helps with pimples for me. Before i wash it off i use it as a scrub

Ya.....i sometimes use this mask. It evens out ur skin tone....let u get rid of that BLOODY TAN.

Aspirins contain Salicylic Acid (BHA), and people who get allergic to this acid may experience...umm..i dunno.....but, of course, it wud b not a good idea to use it if u r allergic to this specific acid..thats wut Judi said.

If you have dry or sensitive skin, instead of mixing crushed aspirin with water, mix it with plain yogurt and honey. It's very gentle!
