avon cleansing scrubs

i use avon cleansing scrub in the morning and avon deep pore cleanser at night (or the other way round im not sure! ) but recently when i put my foundation on lots of little bits came off. Does this mean that the cleansing scrubs are working or they are failing?

Well dreamer....

I use St.Ives apricot scrub...and after 7 seven days of using (straight....no DAY-OFF)...i experience this too. The product mention to use it for straight 7 days..

I experience coming off of tiny bits / flakes so i guess its normal. I think of my skin a SNAKE'S SKIN then. I just dont forget to put my moisturizer (aloe lotion, / nature's almond cream, / or pure almond oil) at night...It feels good to me if i experience flaking, normal flaking....

Hey girls......scrubbing your face everyday is really a bad idea......becoz it should be done maximum twice a week.....scrub help the skin to regenerate but when you overscrub then it will ruin the regeneration process.......so dont use your scrub everyday......

But the product clearly mentioned it that if u r using it for the first time then to use it for 7 days continually.

Although i don't overuse things and cosmetic stuff.

I agree with Rinda on this one. Scrubs are not meant to be used daily ( I don't always believe packaging the more you use the more you buy ladies)
This can agitate sorry problems either now or later. Rosacea, spider veins these are people who should not use them. All it does is strip you natural oils from your skin which in turns can result in early signs of aging.
Like Rinda said no more than twice a week.

That's just your skin peeling due to the exfoliating. Maybe you should try using it every other day.

Yup....dont always believe the packaging.....Once I believe in using scrub everyday, becoz the advertisement say so.....they say "this product contains microbeads so u can wear it everyday"....but a beauty advisor (Biotherm) told me, what ever the scrub is, I cannot use them everyday......n I think its true.....Too much scrubbing make my skin rough n flaky.....
