Whats your face shape?

oval face shapes are good, like TX says, very photogenic; and whatsmore, we can pull off almost any hairstyles (natalie portman? remember she shaved her head and still looked fantastic, she has an oval face and a strong jawline: although it is up to you whether you shave your head or not!!!)

aaaah! Just realised I put Round instead of Oval. Is there any way I can change my vote?

Hey Rose, I am round too. I have to watch out for hairdressers because they say "oh, I know what would look perfect on you" and they give me a great haircut that looks awful on me. The ones I run into always seem to be cutting for an oval face shape. If I go to a hairdresser now a days, I have to give them very specific instructions with pictures otherwise it will mean another "oval" haircut.

hi there! Okay, my hair is brown with long layers that start at the middle of my head but are now growing too long and I think it's making my face longer. Sometime this week, I am going in to get all the layers shortened by a couple of inches. My hair is mid-back with some bangs but I want it shoulder length. I think our type of face can't handle REALLY long hair. Don't go for all one length- go for layers! My hairdresser even told me to use...as she called it "the little Hollywood secret"...grab a handful of your hair at the top and backcomb it just a little underneath and then throw it down again so then you have a little body and no one thinks you are still in the 80's and have teased hair because it doesn't look like you teased. Give it a try and let me know how it works out!
