stupid question

i feel really dumb for asking, but how can i make my teeth look nicer? i mean i really hate them so is there a way to make them look less crooked, and smoother? sorry for being dumb, but its worth a try i guess!

It's not stupid at all...there is a profession called 'Orthodontist'.
They are the people who correct crooked teeth and they do the need ful for a beautiful smile. But they are quite expensive. They treat crowded or overlapping teeth and align your jaws so that your teeth can look straight etc...

oh lol thanks, but i didnt mean to make it sound like i dont go to the dentist or anything because i do, and im meant to have a brace soon but im gonna say no to it coz of certain reasons, but i do appreciate your help, thank you

I had a brace because my teeth were really horribe...but unfortuately..there i do not think there are any other ways of getting straigh teeth other than braces. If you are worried of how they will look, ask your orthodontist for clear braces. x

Dreamer you should Know by now there is no such thing as a stupid question that how we all learn, So Smile and get the braces in latter years you will thank your self.

Yup, I wore them too when I was in high school. And back then (in the mid-80's) they didn't have clear ones, they were those big obnoxious band-all-the-way-around-each-tooth mouthful of metal freaky things! LOL

Also it is never "too late" to get braces. My sister-in-law got her braces when she was 38 and now her teeth look fabulous.

I wore braces from age 13-16 and I'm so glad I did because I smile a lot and I feel great having these straight teeth- go for the braces- you will not regret it later on in your life!

yeah, i wore braces for a year (if you scroll through ancient UC threads, you will find posts where I moan about them), I'll be honest, it's no fun wearing them, and even less fun having them put on (I had those massive elastic band ones too, blackbird) but it is totally worth it once they are off. completely.
