The only thing i really know about a detox diet is that you have to sweat...a lot! So you probably have to do really intense exercises and work outs. Oh and make sure you do not drink the water all in one go other wise you will find it hard to exercise as your bldder will be full, you will feel bloated and it will be very uncomfortable. Drink it in sips during the day.

Sweetie, that is almost 2 weeks without eating. Now i dont really know a lit about detoxing, but i have done a few fastings, where for 24-48hours, eat nothing, and drink only cranberry juice, or water.

Not to talk you out of it, but in a sense you will be healthier doing all of that. But you would benifit more if you eat food, and drink all the water and do all the excersise. What happens when you dont eat at least 1000calories a day is your metabolism slows down, holding on to anything you put into your body, thus you not losing weight. also, if you arent eating, your body will start eating off of your organs.

If you want foods to eat, that depends on what you eat. With all that exercising, I recommend you eat at least 1000calories a day. Count calories, keep a journal and write down everything. What you drank, how much and how long you exercised, what you ate and how many calories it had.
Some good things to eat are fish (its soooo good for you), lean chicken, lean turkey, lots of vegetables and fruits, low fat or fat free yogurt. If you are trying to lose weight, stay away from pastas and breads, or if you want to eat some, ONLY eat whole wheat or whole grain, NO WHITE. Also, drink 1% milk, or skim milk. Low fat cheese is good also. And if you use butter, try to use low fat or fat free butter (it does exist, i use it).

And take a multi-vitamin also. I hope I have helped!!

Not really. It helps jump start your body to healthiness, i guess you could say.

The best way that helped me loose weight, was drinking water, eating lots of lean meats, fruits and veggies, and COMPLETELY cutting carbs out of my diet (breads, cereals, pastas, etc). Lost like 1pound a day. But the minute i ate carbs again, even tho i was still exercising, the weight slowly came back.

Carbs turns into startch, which turns into sugar, which turns into calories, which turns into weight!

Wow! 1 pound a day! thats amazing! Everytime i start to diet my mum tells me off saying i'm too young to start of all of this now.

I do a lot of muscle toning exercises though, so it has made my tummy a bit more flatter.

I'm starting my five day detox diet tomorrow. I'm doing it to improve my overall health more than anything else. I've had a few unhealthy eating days recently and this will be good to clean out my system. Hopefully it'll go well.
