I'm surprised that out of the 19 replies in this thread, no one had yet mentioned that you cannot spot reduce. Exercising and focusing on a particular body part in hopes of losing fat in that area won't cause you to lose fat from it.
Having a clean diet consisting of 5-6 well-balanced meals should be your primary focus (all containing adequate proteins, fats, and carbohydrates; excluding your post-workout and pre-bedtime meal), along with weight training and cardio. Direct abdominal work 2-3x's a week would be enough. |
