Default Shaving Disasters.

Im not sure if anyone else has this problem, but recently I have been getting itchy after shaving my legs. Its not just a little itch its like one of those drive you crazy until you scratch it itches and it seems to be all over my legs the second I shave. Is there any kind of lotion for this problem? Im not sure if it is because its winter or my skin is sensitive or what, but does anyone else have this problem? I hope Im not alone haha

try Eurcein or Avene, they both have great products for this and so does Gold bond Lotion it helps as well.

Yup!

And, it could be that the hair growth is irritating your skin. Trry using a gentle exfoliating scrub on your legs. I use a moisturiser with honey extracts in it to sooth my legs.

what sort of shaving foam are you using on your legs? It could be that this is the problem, and it is irritating your skin.
Try just lathering up a shower gel or conditioner and using that instead. I've also found that body washes formulated for babies work well too, especially if your skin is sensitive.

Use a good shaving gel for dry skin, or one with vitamin E. Also, when was the last time you changed your razor blade? A dull blade will irritate your skin.

Alright, I know I am repeating everyone, but oh well.

1. As soon as you get in the shower, exfoliate with an exfoliating body wash, or use a loofah.
2. do the rest of the stuff you gotta do
3. Shave using a good shaving cream, and a new razor (I like Skintimate, or stuff like that).
4. Get out of the shower, and mositurize those smooth legs!!

I have this problem!
after I shave my legs, they feel freaky, but then a few days later they get little red bumps on them and they get REALLY itchy!

I have tried lotions, but....everything just sucks on my body.
My hair's not right, my knees arent right everything just seems like a mess.
but, thats me for ya...haha...

I suggest shaving the other way....
so instead of going from ankle to knee, go from knee to ankle...
it might work

I have been using Skintimate and Colgate with Aloe for sensitive skin but the itching comes right AFTER I shave. I also change up my razors after three or four times of using them because of this problem. Thank you all though for your help I am going to try some of these suggestions. Thanks again!

I also have that problem as well....since its the winter season ure legs become more dry and more prone to itch after you shave and it could also be due to your water

I got tired of going through the itchy phase of leg shaving. I now have my legs waxed, and the itchy phase is no more. An added plus is that the hair grows back finer each time I have them waxed.
