I have these...sore thingys "down there"...their like, on my inner thigh...sometimes if theres pressure applyed...it hurts...
think of it like a giant pimple but, not... they look like a deep pink/purple... and kinda look like scabs or sores or something... my mom wants me to go to the doctors to get it "checked out" but I'm scared that it's going to be something serious and I don't want to go...I'm only 14! I know that I should, because I should take care of myself and everything but... I was just embarrassed to show my mom...and now I have to go to a doctor?! I'm seeking mother daughter advice but....more understanding? help? ![]() |

I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but I used to get sores in that area too that were like large pimples or small cysts. They weren't scabby but sometimes would pop and puss/fluid/blood would come out of them. They were very sensitive to the touch and really hurt if I tried to pop them myself.
I went to my gynocologist and showed him. He was unconcerned and said they most likely developed due to heat in that area. I tended to get them the most in the summer but also got them some during the winter. I noticed that wearing looser/breezier pants helped. Now I don't get them nearly as often, but from about 15 - 25 yrs I'd get one or two every other month it seemed. Go to a gynocologist, it's really not that bad. If they are far enough away from you genitals, like on your inner thighs, go to the doctor. Better safe than sorry. And, if it is something you'd rather catch it early and treat it before it gets out of hand. Good luck! |

I think going to a doctor to have it checked out is the best idea. Don't be embarrassed, he (or she) is a doctor, they've seen it *ALL* before.
Besides, if it's something serious, you want it taken care of and under control. If it's not, then you can take care of it and it will be gone. Either way, you'll feel a whole lot better not having to worry about it any more.

I think you had/have exactly what I have...it exactly what your talking about... couldnt I just go to a regular doctor instead of going to a gynocologist? (but then again, I'm not sure if mine will go away because, I'm heavier then most girls (currently over weight, which I have been trying to work on for 50 million years) and my legs rub together everytime I walk, etc.) |

I agree with the above posters- go to the doctors- they will put an end to all your worrying and wondering and then you'll get treatment and you'll be happy- I wonder if they are boils? What you drescribed sounds like they could be- who knows- go to the doc and let us know how you are doing..

Yes I agree these thing do happen, and I have had the same thing don't worry and yes a regular Doctor can help. For now try to keep the area clean, don't pick, wear lose fitting clothes and see the doctor.
I swear that most women get these at some point in there life's and its nothing to be ashamed of to go to a doctor the place it is located believe they have probably seen quite a few. And If your still nervous picture the Dr.in the same situation because they have to go through similar things in their own personal life's.

Yeah, really don't worry about it- the doctor is used to such things. To them it is just another job. You could probably request a female doctor if you wanted, too.

well yeah, that's what my mom said, my mom suggested her doctor because the doctor that my mom sees for all those "female tests" suggested a weight doctor for me to go and visit and they might do surgery for me to eat *less I have the appointment with the weight doctor next month, hope all goes well [fingers crossed] and yeah, I'll go get it checked out, it's a female so hopefully she'll be understanding about how I feel about it all. :] |

I agree with the others so I shall not repeat the same. Good luck with everything and yeah, keep the area clean and dry.
