Ok, but how do you hose weight around your thighs without doing pilates? Sorry but I can't do pilates I hate them.
So far I've given up soda and I've been drinking green tea. I even tried giving up lunch, but I just got super hungry when I got home from school.

good that you cut out soda, but don't skip meals...it slows down your metabolism so you end up gaining weight instead..
why not do jogging, dancing, cycling, use the stairs instead of the elevator..and try this webpage..it has many fitness exercises: http://www.prevention.com/category/0...-0-0-0,00.html Last edited by resha_v : 09-14-2005 at 02:55 AM. |

try to take 3 tablespoon of virgin coconut oil everyday. preferably in the morning. :-) this aids digestion and speeds up metabolism. it works for me. and please minimize eating food that contains carbohydrates. for dinner, eat before 6 pm. drink a lot of water.

Swap chocolate cravings with grapes and oranges and other small fruits. I do this, and it helps me a lot.

The Kellogs diet seems good. My aunty has tried it, although it has not made a noticable differene in the first few months, after about half a year she looks great. But this is also with the aid of toning exercises, and cardio exercises.

There is no such thing as spot reduction. As long as you do regular cardio, toning, etc... you'll slim down everywhere.
And AVOID DIETS. Let me repeat. Dieting is USELESS. Eating nothing but grapefruit or whatever the fad is may get you super skinny, but as soon as you start eating regularly you'll gain it back+then more weight...then this'll keep happening and this is where stuff like eating disorders have an opportunity to make an appearance. Diets are stupid unless you're so grossly overweight a doctor puts you on one. Plus, most diets limit food you can eat. If you do that at your age it could really mess you up cause you'll be lacking vitamins and stuff your body needs to develop healthily! Just eat healthy. And never deny hunger. If you're seriously hungry, eat something! Just make sure it's healthy. A hand full of almonds, fruit, yogurt some baby carrots...anything healthy. As for the green tea..that is good for you, but how much are you drinking a day? Green tea IS very good for you, but it does have caffeine. Too much caffeine is bad for you, especially at your age. So don't be afraid to try out a noncaffeinated tea, like peppermint tea(a personal favourite of mine..and it's good for your stomach!) or blueberry tea. Good luckk! : ) |
