my family friend, a dentist, really advises against using whitening products like that. it really weakens the strength of your teeth

Well i'm actually a dental student, and we get told that you shoul dnot use the strips as u r stripping of the outer layers of your tooth

oh really? I went to my dentist in March for the full cleaning/check-up and he has been in practice for 39 years and he said that the "teeth whitening" that he does on his patients (that costs about $300) is very similar to buying the Crest white strips. He also says they are perfectly safe and if they weren't, there would be a ton of lawsuits happening right now. I guess it all depends on what dentist you are talking to. They all have there own opinion I guess.

I bought them I feel kinda hypocritical, but anyways, on the box it says "enamel safe", so I don't know, it SAYS it's safe, but I hear a lot of mixed opinions.

I've been using them for about 3 years now and I think they are great. I use the Crest White Strips Premium, they keep your teeth white for up to 12 months, so I use them about once a year. I also use Crest Whitening Expressions toothpaste every day, and I often get a lot of comments on my smile and my teeth. I have had friends ask me if I've had them whitened. I have not had any issues with sensitivity, and I do believe that they are perfectly safe. Like Scully said, this product has been on the market long enough (and Crest is a big enough company) that I think if there were safety concerns then there would be lawsuits, and it would definitely be making the news.

I have just started using them and I have noticed a huge difference in the whiteness of my teeth and I am not even through the 2 week application period yet. I love the way my teeth look and I will definetly use the product again! My teeth are now this white!
