i usually shave my bikini line but i want to start getting it waxed at a salon (i tried it at home but it didnt really work out).. This might sound stupid but its not the pain im worried about its the embarassment. what do you wear while being waxed down there? hopefully its something

I wear normal underwear, and the beauty therapist pulls the fabric aside. You can do this for a normal bikini wax but once you start talking Brazilians, you have to take everything off.

Yes and some women wear the bathing suit that they would be wearing after the wax.

I have a question...

Last Thursday I tried Nair's Hair Removal Cream for Bikini (I'm too big a chicken to wax :P) and it worked alright. I wanted to test it out ahead of time. It didn't work perfectly, but I may of needed it to be thicker in places or leave it on a little longer.

However, a couple days after, some areas had little red bumps, which are basically gone now. Did I get these bumps from a reaction to the product? Or...? Should I wait and try it again in awhile and see if it happens again?

Thanks.

All the cream hair remover do the same thing, just like shaving your probably getting ingrown hair. You can try a product called Tend skin or get a cream with cortisone in it and it will help clear it up.
Hope this help, and just a quick mention I can not use cream hair removers I break out in hives, just a word of caution for first time users to a patch test and see what happens in 24-48 hours.

For neat good waxing, always scrub the area gently this will remove all the dead cells and leave ur skin clear and the chances of ingwon hair will also reduce. After waxing apply any good moisturizer this will also help you to not to have ingrown hair problems.
About bikini waxing well, its better to remove all the clothes as the therapist will easily do her job and its not a new thing for her so she wont take any notice
