Some days ago I bought a new handcream from Lush called Helping hands. It's the first handcream I've tried that really works. I'm glad I found it.

Try a good hand cream available in market at your bed time and drink a lot if water to minimize heat in your body.

I've got Handy Gurugu which is really good, but it does leave your hands a bit sticky for a while, not actually sticky, but they FEEL sticky... it's odd.

The lovely herbally smell makes up for it though hehe

A really good MUA friend of mine got me to try Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax hand creme.

It goes on a bit sticky at first, then it just sorta "melts" into your hands making them feel very soft which lasts for a long time, and the almond fragrance is quite nice as well.

I like Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax hand creme too! It smells amazing and really works. It is thick though so I only apply it before bed.

Here's a good article on some of the things that cause dry skin and what to do about it: http://www.natural-beauty-info.com/moisturizers.html

also make sure your exfoliating your hands at least twice a week.

manicare have a chap hand and nail exfolitor, or just use sugar in your handwash for a few mins.

removing the top layer of dead cells ensures your moisturisers really sink in to the dermis layer of your skin, to promote suppleness to the outerlayer (the epi-dermis

If you use some little gloves and put olive on your hands at night it will make your hands a lot softer and more moisturized throughout the day.

Might sound wierd...but try using olay body thermal pedicure on your hands then finishing with a good thick cream. Works for me, try doing this a couple times a day till u get better, then once a day.

Burt's Beez is good stuff. I prefer barielle Hand Cream, they also use all natural ingredients.
