Saturated fats are bad for your body, because it is hard for your body to break them up. It is best to have unsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. Saturated fats are composed entirely of carbon single bonded to atoms, usually hydrogen. In unsaturated fats, there are some carbons double bonded to an atom, which makes the fat overall weaker, and easier to break down. When an entire fat is single bonded, it is stronger, and harder for the body to break down, and they will adhere to the sides of your arteries. So stay away from saturated fats and aim for the unsaturated.
