Default What oils to use to treat minor depression

Bergamot. This citrus plant from Italy has stimulating anti-depression properties. It has a pleasant, sweet, and fruity smell, but not too sweet or overpowering.

Rose. This is one of the most expensive essential oils in the market, but its fragrance is so pleasant that it is worth it even if you buy it diluted in other oils. Aromatherapists believe that rose gives a sense of security and happiness.

Rosewood
. This oil is indicated to treat stress, nervousness, anxiety, and sadness. It has a pleasant, sweet, and woody fragrance.

Sandalwood. This is an essential oil used in yoga and in temples in many religions. It is indicated to treat anxiety, nervousness, and depression.

Orange, tangerine, mandarin, lemon and lime
. All these citric smells help in cases of sadness, irritability, lack of energy, and depression. They are some of the lower priced oils.

I find Lavender Oil very soothing, it also helps you sleep which will take the stress away from Insomnia if you suffer from that.

Default Omega 3

Hi,

i know this these are not essential oils, but omega 3s are known for helping people with depression and improving mood. Although ingesting omega 3s by mouth is possibly the best option, using it in skin creams also provides the body and epidermis with these important oils.

hope this helps

Clary sage is supposed to be the most euphoric of essential oils. You shouldn't use it all the time though.

You should be careful with essential oils sometimes. Mandarin is the most harmless. I bought wintergreen a while back, and whenever I smelled it I would be alive, and glow with happiness, and I smelled and diffused it for days straight. Then I looked online and it was considered toxic and dangerous and I was like H'OMG.

So yeah, the internet is a powerful ressource.

The price varies according to each oil.
Lavender is one of the cheapest, about $8.50 for 1/2 ounce, while rose is one of the most expensive at about $102 for 1/2 ounce.

You can order online from MountainRoseHerbs,a nd they ship internationally.
